We stopped to have lunch at Beach Hut Deli on 26051 La Paz Road in Mission Viejo.
You order your mean and pay for it at the front counter.
Then they call your name to pick up your order.
Entrée:
I had; 9' Hobie Sandwich;
With salami, pastrami, provolone, Italian dressing etc.
On a toasted roll and a bag of potato chips. Delish!
Diana had; Santa Cruz Sandwich;
With pastrami, avocado, bacon, cream cheese etc.
also on a toasted roll and BBQ chips.
Dessert:
I had; Lemon Drop Cookie.
Diana had; Chocolate Chip Cookie.
Ohh so good!
Although the sandwiches were a little pricy, they were so large that we both took half of our sandwich home.
The tables inside the booths are shaped like a surfboard & I though that was a very cool design, plus they have there own TV!
Then we walked outside & drove off to find my next review.

Nice for Lunch with your family. Our Choice is Turkey & Provolone cheese and the works with avocado. And for me a nice cold Beer. Today it was Booze Brothers Mr. Nelson IPA

I like the theme, feel, and layout here and the sandwich options are creative. Beer selection is also a plus.
But, while the Reuben is above average, everything else is mediocre or on par with what you'd find at your average sandwich shop. The only problem is you're paying roughly $4 more here than the average sandwich shop.
I don't mind paying $10-12 for a $10-12 sandwich, but I don't like paying $10-12 for a $6.
Also, the "kids meals" are an absolute joke. We had our grandkids join yesterday.
$3.50 for a half of a grilled cheese. No exaggeration. $0.25 worth of bread and cheese, and then cut in half. No chips, fruit, drink, nothing else: just a tiny half a sandwich on a plate. It was laughable.
If you're looking for great sandwiches and better beer selection at MUCH more reasonable prices, try Board and Brew.
Unfortunately we've come to the conclusion that this isn't for us.
Will miss those Reubens though... -

Yummy! Tried this place out yesterday.
So good. Sandwich came out looking just like a professional pic. Piled high with turkey, bacon, avocado and all the trimmings. Hoagie was soft and delicious! Will definitely bring the hubby back to try this place out.
